Product Description

Raney Nickel Catalyst

In the organic chemistry, raney nickel catalyst is used as a catalyst. It is prepared via the formulation of nickel alloy. During the quenching procedure, zinc, chromium or some other third metal is added for increasing the activity of this catalyst. Also known as a promoter, this product is responsible for altering the state of mixture from binary alloy to a ternary alloy. Raney nickel catalyst has a specific surface areas which decreases with the increase in the temperature of leaching.
